Race/Ethnicity has a close percentage on the amount of diagnosis awareness given for people with Alzheimer's disease. The data shows that all the race/ethnicity groups are around the same amount of percentage. This is information calculated from the year 2007-2009. The Black Bar is the interval range for each of the different ethnicity groups. The graph displays race/ethnicity groups for Hispanic or Latino, Black or African American, and White. The goal is to raise and increase the awareness of diagnosis for people with Alzheimer's, other dementia and caregivers. The dotted red line in the middle shows the target for 2020 and its 38.3 percent. The data shows the race/ethnicity of being white gets the least amount of awareness through the years of 2007 and 2009. The group that got the highest amount of diagnosis awareness was Hispanic or Latino. On average we see the blue bar that's a total of race and awareness on a average. The target for each of these is shown and are expected to grow in the years to come.
